Every year, approximately 1200 people are killed and another 44,000 are seriously injured on Australian roads. This is why National Road Safety Week, now in its eighth year, is so important to remind all road users of the impact of road trauma and to encourage drivers to drive so others survive.

National Road Safety Week is an initiative of the not-for-profit SARAH Group and is supported by Federal, State and Local Government, road safety and road-related associations, NFP partners and corporate partners. We work collaboratively to encourage better driving behaviour and to save lives.
